With a combined tenure of over 35 years behind the bar, our mixologists know what their customers want. And all share a passion for Urbane's mission to utilize local ingredients and practice sustainability.
They embrace the opportunity to work in and with the kitchen so that the cocktails furthers the culinary experience. They take the same pride in the preparation of their libations as the Chef's do with the cuisine.
Jeff Eierdam
Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Jeff has been in the food and beverage industry since age eighteen. A fourteen-year veteran behind the bar, Jeff has had experience working in many establishments – including Cavanaugh’s in the south loop, and Cab’s Wine Bistro on Main. Combining good conversation with memorable drinks, he believes bartending is the ultimate expression of personality and creativity – and continues to perfect his craft everyday.
Jeff is also an avid outdoorsman and conservationalist, making bartending for a LEED-certified hotel the perfect match.

Megan Cole-Daum
Megan began her career in hospitality at the age of 17 as a hostess in her home town of Vancouver, Washington. Since, she has had experience in fine dining, event planning, and bartending for the last 8 years. She moved to Seattle 6 years ago where she worked for a luxury hotel before joining the team at Urbane. She is a people person by nature, so bartending is a perfect match for her personality. She also believes in using the freshest fruit, herbs and juices possible in hand crafted cocktails.
Doug Bertrand
Doug began his career with the opening of the Benaroya Music Hall in 1998 as the Bartender in the Founder’s Room, he then moved on to open the Newcastle Golf and Country Club as a Bartender in the Wooly Toad Cigar Lounge. He moved on to becoming a Seattle Staple in the Bartending community spending 9 Years at the Union Square Grill before joining the team at Urbane.
