With a combined tenure of over 35 years behind the bar, our mixologists know what their customers want. And all share a passion for Urbane's mission to utilize local ingredients and practice sustainability.
They embrace the opportunity to work in and with the kitchen so that the cocktails furthers the culinary experience. They take the same pride in the preparation of their libations as the Chef's do with the cuisine.
Ryan Ditch
I am originally from Olympia, WA. Started bartending when I was 21 and have worked for numerous outlets from restaurants to lounges and Las Vegas nightclubs. After working in Newport Beach, CA I moved to Las Vegas for an opportunity @ the Wynn Hotel & Resort. I started at the pool and underwent my Union apprenticeship and Union schooling. After 3 months of studying I got Certified and promoted to Bartender. In conclusion to the pool season I transferred into Blush nightclub. I had an amazing opportunity to work with our elite guests and celebrity clientele.
After living in Las Vegas for 3 yrs I returned to Washington to assist my family business and open a restaurant / bar in Olympia. When they were up and running I headed up to Seattle and found Olive 8. I have 11 yrs total service industry experience and 8 yrs of bartending experience. I am looking forward to the future and focusing my goals around a beverage management position.
Danielle Green
I grew up on the peninsula in Western Washington. I started scratch bartending at the age of 21 in a restaurant named Michaels. Through my four years there, I worked my way up to bar manager and was able to create cocktails and put together the seasonal cocktail menus.
Three years ago I moved to Seattle. I worked as a server in a few different restaurants while I finished up at the University of Washington. After, I spent a year bartending at Dragonfish until the opportunity arose to move to Urbane. I look forward to working with the staff and guests here to create fun new cocktails.
Megan Cole-Daum
Megan began her career in hospitality at the age of 17 as a hostess in her home town of Vancouver, Washington. Since, she has had experience in fine dining, event planning, and bartending for the last 8 years. She moved to Seattle 6 years ago where she worked for a luxury hotel before joining the team at Urbane. She is a people person by nature, so bartending is a perfect match for her personality. She also believes in using the freshest fruit, herbs and juices possible in hand crafted cocktails.
