Bringing cultured culinary style to the Northeast corner of the downtown core, Urbane restaurant and bar located at 1639 8th Avenue, opened February 12, 2009.
Modern yet approachable and enduring. An open space with a simple, natural pallet of materials to provide a strong foundation or background that can adapt to changes. The presence of recessed wall niches allows for seasonal accents to define and change the “theme”.
The restaurant design will compliment the finishes of the adjacent hotel lobby areas (wood and stone) as well as the exterior glass façade and awning that dominates the building’s exterior avoiding the appearance of a separate entity within the building.
A light and open space with the city presence just outside the windows as a vital “back drop”. High visibility both in and out. A place to sit and watch the city go by.
